Over 400 CSP10 and CSP Alumni delegates participated in the 10th China Synergy Programme for Outstanding Youth and Grand Reunion, marking the most significant milestone of the Programme since 1999. Through a series of exchange activities, including the Keynote Speech, the CSP Forum and the Group Discussions, our delegates learned about the latest development of China, explored the opportunities of developing their future careers, and most of all strengthened their most precious and valued friendship. A dinner banquet held on July 20 in Beijing marked the closing of the 10th CSP and Grand Reunion, bidding farewell to all our CSP participants and supporters this year.

On 19 July, Mr. JIA Qinglin, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, received the CSP delegation at the Great Hall of the People for six consecutive years. Chairman JIA affirmed the achievements of the China Synergy Programme over the past years. He encouraged the CSP delegates to work hard for the prosperity of the country. Chairman JIA was also gratified with the fact that many CSP Alumni had been very successful in their own fields. He hoped that all the delegates will remember their Chinese heritage, support the development of China and enhance the cultural exchange as well as the friendly relations between China and the rest of the world.

Being the financial center of China, Shanghai fascinated our delegates with its long foreign trade history, strong economy power, and diverse mixture of eastern and western cultures. One of the highlights of this year's programme was the visit to the Shanghai Expo. The demonstration of technological achievements from different countries around the world was an eye-opener for our CSP10 delegates and alumni, and the visit proved to be beneficial. Moreover, delegates also visited the spectacular Donghai Bridge (東海大橋), Yangshan Deep Water Port (洋山深水港) , and toured around Shanghai city. With a better understand of the development plans of the city, they showed interest in coming back to Shanghai to build their career in the future.
